How to print reports from rapid serve?

First, define the peripheral from the eZee Optimus backend to print reports from Rapid serve application.

  1. Switch to back>> Go to Settings >> Virtual Device >> Add Mini report printer

2. Now go to Terminal and add a printer device to print reports from Rapid Serve. Select the options as given screenshot based on the connection type.

  1. EOP V2 : Browser-based printing

Requirement:

  1. Device name: Printer name
  2. Link: interface.ipms247.com
  3. Port: 8008

2. Bluetooth: Printing from Bluetooth Printer. It will support to only Android bluetooth Device.

Requirement:

  1. Printer Name
  2. Bluetooth Address: You can get it from an Android device
  3. Print width: 18 ( keep Based on paper size )

3. Network printer: When the printer is in-network with the mobile device you can use this option to print directly from Rapid serve.

Requirement:

  1. IP address: Printer IP address. press and hold the power and print button simultaneously for few seconds to get this address.
  2. width: 25 ( based on paper size )

3. Once device setup is done and test printed successfully from Device mapping, You can print the mini-report from Rapid Serve.

How to add Bluetooth Printer in eZee Optimus (Rapid Server App)?

What is Bluetooth Printer?
We can print receipts and orders using a Bluetooth printer connected to our smartphone or tablet and can print Receipts/KOT from RapidServe application.
Note:
1. Bluetooth printing will work in Rapid Serve App only
2. This will not work in the web version
3. Currently, Bluetooth printer supported on Android devices only

Paring printer in android mobile or tablet:
1. Turn on your Bluetooth printer.
2. Open the Settings in the android device on your smartphone or tablet.
3. Click on Bluetooth and Turn ON
4. Click on the name of your Bluetooth printer to start the Pairing

Printer Testing
1. Install The eZee Bluetooth Printer Testing App
http://ezeenextgen.s3.amazonaws.com/download/Integration/EO%20Printer/PrinterTest.apk
2. Open App and press the Refresh List option. It will display all paired devices.
3. Click on “Connect Bluetooth Device” to establish a successful connection.
4. Add Your Message and hit the “Send Data Via Bluetooth” Or You can “Print Receipt”

Find MAC address of printer
In respective to configure the Bluetooth printer in a RapidSever app, it needs a MAC address of a Bluetooth device. It can be found from the device test print. You can also find it from the eZee Bluetooth Printer Testing App. in App device name is listing with MAC address. e.g. 00:01:90:85:07:AA is Mac Address for TM-P20_013820 Bluetooth Printer.

How to Access:
Follow steps to configure the Bluetooth printer in optimus.

Step 1: Goto Back office >> Terminal >> Add Terminal

Step 2: Provide a name for the Terminal, Click on + icon to add a device. Select “Bluetooth” in connection type and enter the required details for the printer.

Restart Rapidserve, log out from the application and check printing

Once the order placed (finished) also we can re-print a KOT for that order.
Below are the steps you can see how we can in Rapid Serve App.

For reprint, the KOT user should have the right for ” Reprint KOT “refer to the below screenshot

How to change the quantity of an item after the order is placed in eO Rapidserve?

Once the order is placed we can change the item Quantity in Rapid Serve App.

Refer to the below details on how we can change the quantity of the item once we finished the order.

User Privilege

If the user is unable to change the item quantity or unable to recall the order then we have to give rights to a user from the admin user in Optimus Back.

In the above screenshot, we can see the privileges.

IF you are looking to see the privilege for Edit function then edit the user and below privileges, there is empty space where we can write edit, So all the edit right will show to us and we can select those rights and click on edit.

Note: once we changed in the backed under the user then please ask the user to re-login and try. For Optimus 2.0 also you need to login in Optimus browser.

 

Once the order is placed we can change the item Quantity in Rapid Serve App.
