How to Check-out a room in eZee Absolute?

Once the guest departed from the hotel it’s required to perform checkout operation in the PMS system as well. Before performing checkout operation it’s required to update balance with 0.

How to Access: In order to check out a room, please follow the below steps and video.

Location: eZee absolute PMS stay view >> click on Transaction >> check-out button.

User Privilege: eZee absolute configuration >> User >> Edit user >> Privileges >> Front Office >> Access to check out guest.

1. Check-out from the Stay View.

Click on  >> Click on Transaction which you want to check-out. Refer the screenshot provided below :

2. Check Out from the Quick Search.

Location: eZee absolute PMS stay view >> click on search icon >> search the guest details in search box >> click on that guest >> check-out button.

Click on the Quick Search button  from the pane. Refer the screenshot provide Below :


3. Check Out from Edit Transaction.

Location: eZee absolute PMS stay view >> Edit transaction >> check-out button.

click on Edit Transaction >> Scroll down and find the Check Out button. Refer the screenshot provided below :

4. Check Out from Departure List.

Location: Click on Front Office >> Departure List >> Click on Reservation >> Check Out

Note: When the system does not allow the viewing checkout button it’s required to check the working date is same as the guest departure date and also it’s required to check folio balance updated with 0.

Report: Select Guest Checked Out from the Report tab under Front Office Report.

How to add early checkin and late checkout charges in eZee Frontdesk 7.0 ?

What is the early check in and late check out charges?
When guest try to check in guest before check in time and late check out as after check out time, Guest have to pay some charges here.
Check in time is 10:00am : Guest checked in by 09:00am >> Early check In 
Check out time is 09:00am : Guest checked out by 12:00pm >> Late Check Out
Here Guest must pay charges according to hotel policy.

eZee Frontdesk Configuration >> Advance settings >> Rental >> Rental Settings

eZee Frontdesk Configuration >> Masters >> Reason / Remark

Use Privilege:
General Settings >> Access Early  Check In / Late Check Out

How to Access:
Kindly refer below screenshot for configuration of early check In and late checkout charges.

Here there are 4 types of charges available
1. None – No charges and add remarks
2. Half Tariff – 50% tariff of one night

3. Full Tariff –  one night room tariff applicable
4. Manual – Add manually charges

How to undo check out or a hotelier accidentally checked-out, is it possible to reverse/undo check-out in eZee Frontdesk?

eZee Front desk >> Front Office >> Guest Ledger >> Looking For – Checked out >> Search 

User Privilege:
eZee Front Desk configuration >> Configuration >> User >> Edit >> Operational Privilege >> allow to do undo check-out >> Save

How to Access:
Must follow below clause,
1. Undo check-out should have been done on same day. Not allowed after night audit.
2. The user should have the privilege to Undo check-out
3. Keep today’s date in stay view  and do it.

Please follow below steps to do perform undo check-out.

How to get Arrival, Departure and Reservation list in eZee Absolute?

1.) Reservation List: To see confirmed reservation from a particular date period, in reservation list, we can see all the reservation (Cancel, Void, No show and confirmed) and also we can see the reservation with there status.

2.) Arrival List: To see today and Future Arrivals for the Hotel.

3.) Departure List: To see Today and past Departure for the Hotel.

How to access: In order to access the Arrival, Departure and Reservation list refer to the below steps.

Location: Login into eZee Absolute >> Front office >> Reservation/Arrival/Departure List.

Report:  We can see the Arrival List report for the check-in guest and Departure List report for the check-out guest.

1). Arrival List: In this report, we can see all the guest which will check-in into the system means those are not checked in yet, It is not showing the checked-in reservations.

2) Departure Report: The departure list report is showing the guest which will checkout from the hotel as well as the checked-out guest for that set date period.
