How to send a booking cancellation email in eZee Absolute?

In eZee Absolute if you cancel any booking there are 2 ways to send cancellation email, one is automated which send an email after cancellation is done, and another is Manually in which you need to send manually from that booking.

How to Access: In order to send a booking cancellation email please follow the below steps.

To enable Automated cancellation email: Goto Configuration >> Setting >> General >> Print and Email setting >> Email Option >> enable Email for Reservation Cancelled and select template Email to Guest/Booker on a Reservation Cancellation

To send manually from the booking: Please refer to the steps shown in the video

How to cancel a Reservation in eZee Absolute?

A reservation cancellation means informing the hotelier that the guest is not arriving as per the scheduled arrival date. There may be several reasons to cancel future reservations.

1.) Change their mind to visit that place.
2.) Due to national and international virus cause like COVID-19 in the year 2020.
3.) A natural disaster like an earthquake, volcano, etc.

How to Access: In order to cancel a reservation please follow the below steps and video.

User Privilege: eZee absolute configuration >> User >> Edit user >> Privileges >> Reservation >> Cancel reservation.

There are several ways to cancel the reservation.

1) Stay View : Stay view >> Click on reservation >> More option >> Click on cancel reservation Icon >> set a reason >> Save
2) Reservation list : Reservation list >> Click on the reservation >> More option >> Click on cancel reservation Icon >> set a reason >> Save

1) Stay View: Click on reservation >> More option >> Click on cancel reservation Icon >> set a reason >> Save

2) Reservation List: eZee absolute PMS >> Click on “Reservations” Icon >> Reservations >> Click on search and filter the date range if required >> Click on that reservation >> More option >> click on cancel reservation >> Follow steps as show below.

What is No-Show/Cancellation Charge in eZee Absolute?

No show : A guest who does not arrive where and when they should at a hotel or motel, and makes no explanatory contact, is called a No–Show.

No show Charges : If a guest fails to arrive on a certain date to fulfil a booking (as all so often happens!) and does not cancel; that does not necessarily mean the hotel will lose money. No. Hotels can cover themselves for this eventuality by integrating into their pricing structure something called a No-Show charges.
Against to no show booking we can take a no show charges from guest and make a entry of it on Absolute.

Cancel : If due to some reason if Guest or hotelier is looking to cancel reservation then we can cancel it and that reservation called as cancelled reservation.

Cancellation charges : A cancellation fee is a sum of money the guest must pay if we cancel a hotel reservation after the cancellation due to some reason. The hotel will charge cancellation fees as per the cancellation policy.
Against to cancelled booking we can take a cancellation charges from guest and make a entry of it on Absolute.

Is it Possible to Reactivate/Undo Reservation which are Marked as No Show/Cancelled/Void in eZee Frontdesk?

How to Access:
We can only reactivate/ undo No Show & Cancelled reservations. Voided Reservation cannot be activate again.
