How to hold KOT/ fire KOT in eZee Burrp 7.0?

Hold item and Fire item are basically the communication between the restaurant and the kitchen. Suppose the guest orders 3 items(soup, meat, and dessert). Now the guest requests to serve soup first, followed by meat and dessert.

Hold Item: Hold operation is used to hold a particular item by not displaying these items in KOT. Thus the kitchen staff will not prepare these items as this is not mentioned in the KOT sent by the restaurant.  In this case, it will hold meat and dessert.
Fire Item: Fire operation is used to unhold the items, which means using this operation the item is to be served to the guest, by first generating its KOT with the help of which the Kitchen staff will prepare the item. In this case, it will fire meat first and then dessert.

User Privilege:
Food & Beverages >> KOT Operations >>  ability to hold KOT/ ability to fire KOT/ Clear hold KOT-Receipt.

Screenshot 2: You will get the hold icon on the table whose order is on hold.

Screenshot 3: Whenever you want to unhold(fire) the order. You can directly click on the table and proceed ahead accordingly with the order.

How to access:

Note: This tax setting is applied instantly with new order (KOT)

How to set gratuity compulsory on order type in eZee Burrp 7.0?

Gratuity call out is guests tip for your staff. Some customers offer gratuity in terms of
1. Percentage
2. Fixed  Amounts

Location:
eZee POS Back Office >> Configuration >> Outlet Operation >>Edit Outlet >> Order Type

How to access:
Checkmark on ‘gratuity compulsory on bill‘ and add a percentage, Save it.
Restart eZee Burrp and settle the receipt.

How to add pantry message in eZee Burrp 7.0?

Pantry message is used to pass the message to the Kitchen or Bar for any order to give special instruction for serve items. It is different from Preparation remark usually added while taking orders from the Guest.

Location:
eZee Back Office >> Configuration >> Masters >> Pantry Message >> New.

How to access:
Create a new Pantry Message and save it.
Restart eZee Burrp, then Recall the order and reprint KOT after selecting Pantry Message.

How to add Preparation remark for meal in eZee Burrp 7.0 ?

What is Preparation remark?
It is kitchen chef’s remarks on KOT to prepare food.  This is KOT Remark.

Location:
eZee Burrp Back >> Dine In >> Punch KOT >> Add preparation remark 

Pre requisite:
eZee Burrp Back Office >> Configuration >> Masters >> Preparation Remark >> New.

How to access:
Create a new Preparation remark and then save it.

How to add open item and get open item report in eZee Burrp 7.0?

What is Open Item?
Open Item is an item whose name and price can be changed, not exist to menu item

Location:
eZee Burrp Back Office >> Outlet >> Item Configuration >> Menu item >> Add/Edit.

How to Access:
Please find the below steps for making an item open

In order to add a new user, follow the below steps:

Kindly find below information for user details

1. User Privacy – Enter a user name, Add password of a new user, Verify again the same password, Enter code ( If you want to the user to login with a code)

2. Role settings – Select user role that defines user privilege/ability role
Access POS: When you check mark this option, It will allow this user to access eZee POS system.
Access iReport: When you check mark this option, It will allow this user to access eZee iReport Application.
Access HK: When you check mark this option, It will allow this user to access eZee House Keeping Application.

3. Maximum percent of discount a user can give- If the user is required to add a certain maximum % of discount.

4. Maximum amount of discount a user can give- If the user is required to add a certain maximum amount of discount.

5. Language – Select the Language, it is advisable to check the language chosen by other users and select the same for this new user.

6. Right to Left Interface – When use is left handed and he wants to change the software to the left side, He can check mark this setting so it will show like below screenshot.

7. Outlet- Checkmark the outlet which the user is going to access.

8. Store- Checkmark the store which the user is going to access.

9. Privilege- Checkmark the privilege which is to be given to the user.

10. Reports- Checkmark the reports which the user is going to access.

11. Discount Types- Checkmark the discount types which is to be given by the user.

12. Surcharge Type- Checkmark the surcharge type which is to be given by the user.

13. Table- Checkmark the table which the user is going to access.

14. Other Information-
Notification Settings –
Add mobile no and email for notification like night audit report SMS & email notification, etc.

Rate Setting- Select the default rate to be applied and the maximum number of reprints.
Cash drawer settings- Select the cash drawer which is to be used by the user.

How to add several currencies or exchange rate in eZee Burrp BackOffice 7.0?

What is the exchange rate?
When a guest is paying with different currencies, we have to define the exchange rate.

Define all the currencies that you are collecting from the guest.

eZee POS Back Office >> Configuration >> Payments and Accounts >> Exchange Rate >> New/Edit >> Add/Edit Details >> Save.

Privilege:
eZee Burrp BackOffice >> Configuration >> User Operation >> Edit >> Privilge >> Property Configuration >> User management >> System configuration >> Configure currency exchange rate.
