How to change the quantity of an item after the order is placed?

Many a times a situation arises in the restaurant that after placing the order, the guest requests to change the quantity of an item.

Refer to the below details on how  quantity of the item can be changed after the order is placed.

Step 1: Go to Order Summary >> Running Order >> Select the Order and open it.

Step 2: Select the Item to change the quantity.

Step 3: Click on Finish after changing the quantity.

Step 2: Select the Order.

Step 3:  Select the Item to change the quantity.

The blue line highlighted showing the current quantity and prices in the second screenshot we can see after changes I quantity the change made in prices.

Step 4: Enter the new quantity.

In the above screenshot, the blue line highlighted is showing the changes after you did change the quantity.
As the quantity changes, We can see the changes are taken place at Quantity, Subtotal, taxes, and Total.

Step 5: Click on Save to save the changes.

Rights assigned to user to change the quantity.

User Privileges: 

If the user is unable to change the item quantity or unable to recall the order then we have to give rights to a user from the admin user in Optimus Back-End.

In the above screenshot, we can see the privileges.
IF you are looking to see the privilege for Edit function then edit the user and below privileges, there is empty space where we can write edit, So all the edit right will show to us and we can select those rights and click on edit.

Note:  once we changed in the backed under the user then please ask the user to re-login and try. For Optimus 2.0 also you need to login in Optimus browser.
